Shuttles between Othello Station and the hydro races will run 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday-Sunday

With free Metro shuttles between Othello Station and Seafair festivities on Lake Washington, Link light rail is the best way for fairgoers to take in the fun while avoiding traffic and parking headaches.

Link light rail service, which will operate with regular fares this weekend, is accessible at 13 stations in downtown Seattle, SODO, Beacon Hill, the Rainier Valley, Tukwila and Sea-Tac. Bus service connects the Link stations to destinations throughout the entire region. Shuttles to the Albert Lee Cup hydro races will operate 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily Friday through Sunday, Aug. 3-5 between the Othello Link light rail station, located at Martin Luther King, Jr. Way and South Othello Street, and Stan Sayres Pit, near Genesee Park.

Information on Link light rail service and an online trip planner that includes transit services throughout the region is available at www.soundtransit.org. Please note that Sound Transit rider alerts outline service changes associated with closures of the I-90 floating bridge during this weekend during air shows.

Details about the Metro shuttle service as well as Metro services during I-90 bridge closures are available at www.kingcounty.gov/metro under the "Alerts Center" link.
