Sound Transit Board to hold special meeting on August 5th

The Sound Transit Board of Directors will convene a special Board meeting from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 5 to consider adopting a realigned capital program in response to significant upward cost pressures and a $6.5 billion affordability gap. The meeting will take place in lieu of the Board's Rider Experience & Operations Committee and Executive Committee meetings. 

The Board will consider a resolution and potential amendments to the resolution. The special meeting will take place as a virtual meeting due to ongoing COVID-19 precautions.
