Executive Committee to hold a special meeting in May
The Sound Transit Board of Director’s Executive Committee will convene a special meeting on Tuesday, May 13 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
The committee will take public comment then will hold an executive session to discuss litigation the agency is or will likely become party to, as authorized under RCW 42.30.120 (ii). The committee will also consider a final action to authorize the agency join as a plaintiff in the litigation Martin Luther King, Jr. County, Pierce County, Snohomish County, City of Boston et. al v. U.S. Departments of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration, et. al., No. 2:25-cv-814 ( W.D. Wash. filed May 2, 2025).
The meeting will take place both in person in the Ruth Fisher Boardroom at 401 S. Jackson Street in Seattle, WA and will also be available to the public via video and telephone conference. The boardroom will be open at 8:30 a.m., 30 minutes before the meeting start time.
