Sound Transit is offering some tips to help ST Express Regional Bus commuters through this afternoon's Immigration Rights Rallies in Seattle and Tacoma. The rallies will affect all bus service in downtown Seattle between the hours of 4-7 p.m and Tacoma Link light rail service earlier in the afternoon.

For north and southbound Seattle ST Express Regional Bus customers, Sounder Commuter Rail is an excellent alternative.

Sound Transit has worked with its transit partners to minimize the effects on ST Express Bus Service but significant delays and reroutes are likely, especially on service to-and-from King and Pierce Counties.** Seattle commuters should plan to leave town earlier if possible or use alternative transportation such as Sounder Commuter Rail to points north and south.

** ST Express routes 510, 511, and 513 - Northbound service to Snohomish County has no reroutes planned. Southbound stops on 5th at Jefferson and Jackson will be missed.
