Sound Transit to hold public meeting on land development opportunities near future Roosevelt station site
Public invited to discuss future land development next to Roosevelt station site
Sound Transit will hold an open house on Thursday, Jan. 12 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Roosevelt High School Commons, 1410 NE 66th Street, on future land development opportunities next to the future Roosevelt Station.
At the meeting Sound Transit, in partnership with the City of Seattle and the Roosevelt Neighborhood Association, will discuss opportunities for transit-oriented development on future surplus land next to the station. Transit-oriented development typically includes a mix of housing, retail, office and other uses designed to support walkable communities near transit facilities.
Members of the public are invited to learn about potential opportunities and provide input on community priorities for future development of the land.
