Sound Transit train, bus schedules for Christmas and New Year’s holidays

No Sounder and limited bus service Christmas and New Year's Day, extended Link and Tacoma Link service on New Year's Eve

Riders should be aware of service reductions and special train and bus schedules for the Christmas and New Year's holidays.

Christmas Day service

  • No Sounder commuter rail service.
  • ST Express bus routes 510, 511, 513, 532, 535, 540, 542, 555, 556, 566, 567, 586, 590, 592, 595 and 596 will not operate.
  • ST Express routes 512, 522, 545, 550, 554, 560, 574, 577, 578 and 594 will operate on Sunday schedules.
  • Link light rail and Tacoma Link will run on Sunday schedules.

All Sound Transit trains and buses will operate regular service Christmas Eve.

New Year's Eve service

  • Sounder service will operate on a weekday schedule.
  • ST Express buses will operate on a weekday schedule.
  • Link will run two southbound trips from Westlake Station at 12:58 a.m. and 1:13 a.m.; the last northbound trip will depart Sea-Tac Airport at 12:20 a.m. and continue to Westlake.
  • Tacoma Link will operate extended service. The last southbound train will leave the Theater District Station at 12:48 a.m.

New Year's Day service

  • No Sounder commuter rail service.
  • ST Express bus routes 510, 511, 513, 532, 535, 540, 542, 555, 556, 566, 567, 586, 590, 592, 595 and 596 will not operate.
  • ST Express routes 512, 522, 545, 550, 554, 560, 574, 577, 578 and 594 will operate on Sunday schedules.
  • Link light rail and Tacoma Link will run on Sunday schedules.
