Sound Transit's 'Home Run' Sounder Train cancelled Sunday

Sound Transit's 'Home Run' Sounder will not run this Sunday Aug. 12, the agency announced today. The game between the Mariners and Chicago White Sox will be televised by ESPN cable network, therefore changing the start-time of the game to 5:05 p.m. The Sounder 'Home Run', train which usually takes fans to and from Sunday afternoon Mariner games, cannot run because of conflicting freight train schedules on the Burlington Northern/Santa Fe tracks. 
 
Fans can look forward to the return of the popular 'Home Run' train for the Sunday Mariner home game Aug. 26.
