The Trans-Lake Washington project, a joint effort of Sound Transit and WSDOT, is examining alternatives for increasing mobility across Lake Washington. The public is invited to see the proposed multi-modal alternatives and provide input to the project team.

7:30-9 a.m. Downtown Seattle Association's Transportation and Access Breakfast Forum
The Westin Hotel, Grand Ballroom II (4th floor)
1900 5th Ave., Seattle
The forum will include presentations from Sound Transit Executive Director Joni Earl, the City of Seattle/WSDOT (on the future of the Alaskan Way Viaduct), and the Elevated Transportation Company (on the monorail proposal). 2:30-4:30 p.m. Tacoma Link Employment and Contracting Task Force meeting

The Tacoma Link Employment and Contracting Task Force, formed to provide access to information on local contracting, job training, and employment opportunities, will have its quarterly meeting. The members of the Task Force represent a variety of community organizations.

The Citizen Oversight Panel (COP) will hold its regular monthly meeting.

9-12 noon I-405 Corridor Program -- Executive Committee meeting

The I-405 Corridor Program is a WSDOT-lead, community-based partnership to create a package of integrated, multi-modal transportation improvements that will address future needs in the I-405 corridor. This is the regular meeting of the Executive Committee.

9-12 noon Pierce County Coordinated Transportation Coalition forum
Pierce County Community Services office

The public forum will discuss the coordination of paratransit services for Pierce Transit. Social service agencies, Pierce Transit, WSDOT, and Sound Transit will participate.
