Community members are encouraged to join Sound Transit in celebrating the start of Central Link light rail construction in the Rainier Valley. The event will include food and entertainment and a chance to talk with Sound Transit Board members and local elected officials. More detailed information is available at www.soundtransit.org.

Staff will hold an open house to provide information on plans for the construction of Central Link light rail in the Rainier Valley.

 

6-7 p.m. Canyon Park Freeway Station Community open house
Canyon Park Park-and-Ride
200th Street SE & 17th Avenue SE

Staff will hold an open house to discuss proposed improvements for transit users, including relocation of the southbound bus stop and construction of a new pedestrian bridge.
