Tuesday, October 23

1:30-4:30 p.m. - I-405 Corridor Program - Steering Committee meeting

The I-405 Corridor Program is a community-based partnership to create a package of integrated, multi-modal transportation improvements that will address future needs in the I-405 corridor. This is the regular monthly meeting of the Steering Committee.

The public is invited to help define the alternatives for study in the Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) and identify any significant social, economic or environmental issues for evaluation.

 

Thursday, October 25

7:30-8:30 a.m. - Tacoma Link construction update

Sound Transit will hold its regular community meeting to discuss current construction issues, including traffic changes, safety concerns and upcoming construction plans.

1-4:00 p.m. - Sound Transit Board meeting

Sound Transit Board members and other dignitaries will officially break ground, signaling the beginning of construction.
