Puyallup Fair Special ST Express service
There's no better way to "Do the Puyallup" — and get a coupon for $2 off fair admission — than by riding special ST Express buses on Saturdays and Sundays, September 11-12, 18-19 and 25-26. Special Route 599 buses to the fair's Blue Gate will depart every 30-60 minutes from selected Downtown Seattle stops and East King County's Newport Hills Park and Ride lot. Special Route 589 buses will depart the Auburn Park and Ride lot every 45-60 minutes. Return buses will depart from the fair's Blue Gate. Saturday, September 11

Ride the Wave to the Game!
Sounder commuter rail is a great way to attend Saturday's Washington State University Cougars football game against the University of Colorado Buffaloes! Special Sounder trains for the game will arrive at Seattle's King Street Station, right next to Qwest Field. A southbound train will depart from Everett at 10:40 a.m. with a stop in Edmonds (11:06 a.m.). A northbound train will depart from Tacoma at 10:25 a.m. with stops in Puyallup (10:37 a.m.), Sumner (10:42 a.m.), Auburn (10:50 a.m.), Kent (10:57 a.m.) and Tukwila (11:04 a.m.). Return trains serving the same stations will depart from King Street Station approximately 30 minutes after the end of the game. Sound Transit staff will be on hand at the Town of Woodway's Community Fair to answer questions about Sounder capital improvements in the north service corridor.

6-8 p.m. Talking Signs public meeting

Sound Transit is working to determine the economic feasibility of expanding the Talking Signs program, an infrared signage system designed to help people with disabilities access transit facilities. The agency is seeking assistance from persons who are blind or partially sighted and will hold the third of three public meetings to gather input and provide demonstrations of the technology.
