Puyallup Fair Special ST Express service
There's no better way to "Do the Puyallup" — and get a coupon for $2 off fair admission — than by riding special ST Express buses on Saturdays and Sundays 18-19 and 25-26. Special Route 599 buses to the fair's Blue Gate will depart every 30-60 minutes from selected Downtown Seattle stops and East King County's Newport Hills Park and Ride lot. Special Route 589 buses will depart the Auburn Park and Ride lot every 45-60 minutes. Return buses will depart from the fair's Blue Gate. Sunday, September 19

Sounder Seattle Mariners Home Run service
Sounder commuter rail is a great way for Mariners fans to get to 1:05 p.m. Sunday home games, including this weekend's game with Oakland. Service is available from Everett, Edmonds, Tacoma, Puyallup, Sumner, Auburn, Kent and Tukwila. The trains arrive in downtown Seattle at King Street Station, a short walk from Safeco Field, approximately one hour before the first pitch. They depart 30 minutes after the game ends.

Sound Transit will host an open house and public hearing on the environmental assessment for the Mercer Island Park and Ride project. Attendees will have opportunities to view project design displays and art concepts, talk with project staff and provide comments on the project.

Sound Transit and its partners are getting together to celebrate five years of running Sound Transit's regional trains and buses. Join us for Wave Fest, an afternoon of free entertainment, games, food, drinks, and gifts in the historic Great Hall of Union Station. Radio DJ Ric Hansen, host at KJR 95.7 FM, will be there along with transit and sports partners including King County Metro, Pierce Transit, Community Transit, Everett Transit, Washington State Ferries, the Seattle Mariners, the Seattle Seahawks, the Everett Aqua Sox, the Tacoma Rainiers, the Seattle Sounders, Emerald Downs, the Tacoma Dome, and the Greater Redmond Transportation Management Association.
