Mudslide cancels service to Everett

Sounder service to Edmonds and Mukilteo will operate on regular schedule this afternoon, but passengers to Everett will need to take special or regular bus service from Seattle after a mudslide yesterday closed tracks north of Mukilteo.

There will be no special bus service between Mukilteo and Everett tonight.
Regular Sounder service between Everett and Seattle will resume Monday if no other slides occur.
Bus alternatives to Everett

Special charter express bus service to Everett will depart Fourth Avenue South and South Jackson Street this afternoon at 4:05 p.m., 4:33 p.m., 5:05 p.m., and 5:35 p.m. Riders can also take Sound Transit's regularly scheduled express Route 510 at the same location.

Everett riders can check for detailed bus schedules online or call the toll-free service hotline at 1-888-889-6368.

Southline Sounder service is not affected and will operate on normal schedule.
