Union Station to remain open as cooling shelter on Monday

In light of the heat advisory in effect for the Puget Sound region, Sound Transit is extending the period that Union Station is open to the public as a cooling shelter through 8 p.m. today, June 9.
The Great Hall will be open to the public until 8 p.m. to offer people a chance to stay cool during the heat advisory. Security personnel will be on site to ensure public safety.
