Angle Lake Transit Oriented Development

Map of Angle Lake Transit-Oriented Development.

In 2018, Sound Transit is expected to release a request for proposals (RFP) for transit oriented development (TOD) on the property at the northeast corner of 26th Avenue South and South 200th Street, next to the existing Sound Transit Angle Lake Station and Park & Ride Facility.

Sound Transit took the first step in this effort by reaching out to learn from local stakeholders and residents, their priorities for the area. This feedback is vital in assisting Sound Transit staff to evaluate future development proposals so the highest quality development can occur next to the Angle Lake Light Rail Station, providing crucial access for residents and workers to the rest of the region. Sound Transit hosted two information tables in spring 2018 and continued to meet with local stakeholder groups to gather feedback and information necessary for the formulation of a comprehensive RFP.
