From 11 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 20, to 10 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 21, 1 Line Shuttle buses will replace trains between Capitol Hill and Stadium stations.

1 Line trains will arrive every 15 minutes between Lynnwood City Center and Capitol Hill stations, and every 10-15 minutes between Stadium and Federal Way Downtown stations.

Be prepared: Sign up for text or email Service Alerts to stay up to date on changes that can impact your commute. Route information be found by navigating to your Sound Transit Express bus route number using the Riding transit in winter on the Sound Transit website. Plan your route in advance to save you time.
Link and Sounder Service: All Sound Transit rail services will operate on their regular schedule. Dress warmly and use caution at all stations. Be prepared for wet platforms, stairs, crosswalks, sky bridges and parking lots.
Call or text Sound Transit security at 206-398-5268 to report puddling conditions at parking lots and on platforms at light rail stations. Sounder passengers may contact Sound Transit security or on duty station agents.
ST Express: ST Express service may reroute at any time. Road conditions can change quickly causing reroutes or stop closures with little to no advanced notice. You might see smaller buses used on your route and experience reduced operating speeds.

Passengers should monitor the Service Alerts page for reroute information. All posted schedules are estimated. During adverse weather conditions schedules may not be followed.
It is advised to wait for buses at posted bus stops on flat portions of cleared arterials or at major transfer points, such as park-and-ride lots and transit centers where there may be multiple service options. Please use caution and watch for wet conditions at train stations and bus stops. Sound Transit will have crews out in the field working to clear up facilities, please be prepared in case your facility has not been cleared by the time you arrive.

Starting on September 11 through December 29, the south parking lot at Lynnwood Transit Center will be closed to vehicles. This is to allow for construction of a new trash enclosure.

SeaTac Airport Station 2nd pedestrian bridge elevator construction begins January 8, 2025.
In effect: Jan. 8, 3:00 a.m.
Routes: 1 Line
During times where pedestrian walkways are blocked and elevator access is unavailable, passengers may catch the Rapid Ride A Line bus from SeaTac Airport Station to Tukwila International Boulevard Station in order to use the 1 Line.
The pedestrian bridge from the station to the airport will be unaffected and available throughout the duration of this project.
Beginning February 10, 2025 half of the passenger pick up/drop off area will be closed, as will some parts of the plaza near the stairs and existing elevator as equipment begins to come in for construction of the new elevator.
