Nighttime First Ave NE Closure – Thursday, October 1

Sound Transit’s contractor is reconnecting a water line on First Ave NE on Thursday, October 1. This work requires crews to close the road from 7:30 p.m. – 5 a.m. No high impact noise activities (such as jackhammering or saw-cutting) are scheduled to take place after 10 p.m. Access to homes and businesses will be maintained.

Vehicle traffic: 

First Ave NE between NE 100th and NE 92nd streets will be closed to through traffic during this work. 

Northbound traffic: Turn east on either NE 92nd or NE 95th streets to Fifth Avenue NE. Turn north on Fifth Avenue NE to NE 100th Street. Turn west on NE 100th Street to First Avenue NE. 

Southbound Traffic: Turn east on NE 100th Street. Turn south on Fifth Avenue NE. Turn west on either NE 95th or NE 92nd streets to First Avenue NE.
