To ride the 1 Line:
1. Cross Montlake Blvd NE using the crosswalk at NE Pacific Pl.
2. Turn right at Husky Stadium and continue toward the pedestrian bridge.
3. Enter University of Washington Station.
4. Take the in-service elevator down to the platform.
To exit the station:
1. Follow the pedestrian bridge back toward the station.
2. Take the elevator from the pedestrian bridge down to the street.
3. To cross Montlake Blvd NE, use the crosswalk at Montlake Blvd NE & NE Pacific Pl.
Testing for the 1 Line extension to Federal Way is underway. During testing, trains will continue south past Angle Lake Station. Passengers must deboard at Angle Lake. Service to Federal Way begins on Dec. 6.

Testing for the Federal Way Link Extension has resumed
As a reminder, from 4:30 to 9:30 a.m., Sound Transit will also test 4-minute run times for 1 Line trains. Test trains displaying “Out of Service” will run alongside regular service trains.

Test trains will run alongside in-service trains between Lynnwood and International District/Chinatown stations. The test trains will pause at stations, but doors will remain closed. Please check train head signs before boarding.
Regular service trains will arrive at stations every 8 minutes during the testing period.
This testing will help us prepare for more frequent service after the 2 Line crosses Lake Washington, extending to Lynnwood City Center.
Starting on September 11 through December 29, the south parking lot at Lynnwood Transit Center will be closed to vehicles. This is to allow for construction of a new trash enclosure.

The elevator at the Husky Stadium exit serving the street (Montlake Blvd NE), pedestrian bridge, and platform is out of service for the foreseeable future.
During recent repairs, it was identified that a component in the elevator was damaged. The damaged component is not available for purchase separately, and a completely new machine will need to be ordered. These new machines have a significant lead time and the elevator will be out of service until repairs are complete.

To ride the 1 Line:
1. Take the elevator located directly across from the out of service unit down to the platform.
To exit the station:
1. Take the nearby elevator located directly across from the out of service unit up to the street or pedestrian bridge to Montlake Blvd NE.
The Federal Way Downtown Station Garage is experiencing a closure of the top level until further notice due to construction.
All other levels of the garage will remain open during this time.
