The world's biggest soccer tournament has brought excitement to our region, but you don't need a ticket to experience the beautiful game. 

Many places to play are accessible by Sound Transit - whether you're organizing a weekend match with friends, practicing your footwork, or introducing your kids to soccer.

From neighborhood playfields to championship-caliber stadiums, here's where you can hop off transit and head straight to the pitch.

Along the 2 Line

Judkins Park Station

The historic Judkins Park neighborhood offers multiple options for a quick scrimmage. Head to Judkins Park and Playfield, just a half-mile walk from the station, or continue a bit farther to Beacon Hill Playfield.

Mercer Island Station

Looking for a scenic spot to play? Aubrey Davis Park is about a 0.6-mile walk from Mercer Island Station and offers open space perfect for kicking a ball around.

East Main Station

Bellevue High School Soccer Field sits less than a mile from the station, making it an easy destination for athletes and spectators alike.

Overlake Village Station

Interlake High School Stadium is within walking distance of the station.

Redmond Technology Station

Located near Microsoft's campus, Microsoft Field 6 at The Commons is just a short stroll from the station.

Marymoor Village Station

Home to one of the region's largest soccer complexes, Marymoor Park features nine soccer fields within about a mile of the station. Whether you're joining a league game or practicing on your own, this is one of the premier soccer destinations accessible by transit.

Along the 1 Line and 2 Line

Mountlake Terrace Station

Forest Crest Playfield is less than a mile from the station and offers a convenient option for a casual game.

Shoreline North Station

The Shoreline A/B Soccer Fields are located about 0.7 miles from the station and host a variety of youth and community sports.

Shoreline South Station

Twin Ponds Playfield offers a walkable option from the station.

Roosevelt Station

Roosevelt High School Athletic Field is only a few blocks from the station, making it one of the easiest soccer destinations to reach by rail.

University of Washington Station

Montlake Playfield Athletic Field offers ample space for pickup games and organized sports near the UW campus.

Capitol Hill Station

Soccer fans have several options nearby. Cal Anderson Park's Bobby Morris Playfield is a neighborhood favorite, while Miller Playfield and Seattle University Park's Logan Field are both within about a mile of the station.

Pioneer Square Station

If futsal is more your style, check out the courts at Yesler Terrace Park, located about a half-mile from the station.
