Ride transit to the Seattle Pride Parade

Publish Date

Celebrate love, community, and equality without the stress of traffic and parking — ride transit to Pride and make the journey part of the joy.

The Seattle Pride Parade, held this year on Sunday, June 29, is community-led, deeply rooted in activism, and unapologetically focused on LGBTQIA2S+ visibility. Every year, 300,000+ people gather in the streets, marching for joy, justice, and belonging.

The parade runs through Downtown Seattle along 4th Avenue (starting at 4th and Union and ending at 2nd and Denny Way) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Meet at Westlake Park; the pre-show starts at 10 a.m.

There are many transit options to get you there, so leave your car at home and ride with Pride!

  • Special Sounder service is running on Sunday morning! To get to the festivities from King Street Station, take the 1 Line from the International District/Chinatown station. Find the full schedule.
  • Link light rail is also a reliable and convenient way to get to where you're going, whether you're coming from Lynnwood, Angle Lake, or anywhere in between.
  • Buses are always a great option. Plan your trip here.

More to explore

Pride weekend is packed with joy, and transit makes it easy to be part of it all.

On Saturday, June 28, more than 200,000 people are expected to turn out for PrideFest Capitol Hill — a free, all-day event taking over five blocks of Broadway from Roy Street to Denny Way, plus Cal Anderson Park.

Starting at noon, you’ll find five stages of DJs, drag artists, and local performers, along with family-friendly fun like drag queen story time, field games, and a Doggy Drag Show. From 4–7 p.m., PNW Black Pride will host its celebration in the park as well.

Getting there is easy with Capitol Hill Station right in the center of it all — no need to worry about parking or traffic.

Then on Sunday, June 29, the celebration continues with PrideFest Seattle Center, happening from noon to 8 p.m. right at the end of the Seattle Pride Parade route. Stick around after the parade to enjoy live performances on three stages, local vendors, food trucks, and beer gardens.

Take the 1 Line to Westlake Station and walk or roll over, or hop on the Monorail for a quick ride to Seattle Center. However you get there, riding transit means more time for celebration and less time stressing about how to get home.
