Sound Transit’s art team (STart) is working with local graffiti writers to display their work at a location that is often targeted, hoping it leads to goodwill in the community and fewer work orders for our facilities team. “We’ve been writing on walls since the beginning of time,” said Danny Melbihess, who is curating the group of artists that will participate in this pilot project. “The ruins of Pompeii are covered in graffiti.
