The growing system will connect communities around the Sound to new jobs, education and fun!

Pay less for your ride

Get all the benefits of an ORCA card for the fraction of the cost.  With ORCA LIFT, income qualified riders pay $1 for a one-way trip. $1 fares are also available for seniors and riders with disabilities. Youth 18 and under ride for free.  Adult fares are $3 regardless of distance traveled.

reel icon Get ready: simulated service for the Crosslake Connection begins Feb. 14 🚆🌊 Starting Saturday, 2 Line trains will operate the entire length of the route, and passengers will be able to ride trains on segments of the track that are currently open. That means:
- More frequent trains (every 4-5 minutes between Lynnwood City Center and International District/Chinatown stations) 
- Longer 2 Line hours (until midnight on the Eastside)
- Testing entering its final phase as we get ready to open! Heads up if you’re heading to the airport for the long weekend ✈️ Not every train at 1 Line stations will go to Sea-Tac during this phase. Here’s how to tell:
🟩 1 Line = green square + “Federal Way” (4-car trains — airport service)
🟦 2 Line = blue square + “International District/Chinatown” (2-car trains) Easy tip: Short train = short trip. The Stride fleet will be Sound Transit’s first battery-electric fleet, and the first of its kind in the country to use this technology for double-decker buses.
