Sound Transit will be providing service to Seattle Stadium for FIFA World Cup 2026.

Here's some tips and tricks for getting to Seattle Stadium on match day:

  • Give yourself extra time. Trains, buses, and platforms will be crowded. If a vehicle is full, please wait for the next one.

    • Seattle Stadium gates open three hours prior to kickoff.

  • Follow the signs, pay attention to overhead announcements, and follow directions from transit staff and ambassadors. They are stationed along the platforms to help guide you and keep everyone safe.

  • If you see something that doesn’t seem right, report to police, transit security, or event staff. This includes threatening or suspicious people, activities or messages or packages/items left unattended.

    • Reach Sound Transit security via phone/SMS at +1 206-398-5268.

    • If you witness a crime or need to report an emergency, dial 911.

  • When departing the station area, expect lines for up to 2 hours long post-match.

Link light rail

  • 1 Line and 2 Line trains will operate every six minutes on match day.
  • T Line will operate increased service on match day.

ST Express

ST Express will offer increased service on match day.

Sounder

Sounder will offer additional service to supplement normal N Line and S Line trips.

These some normally-scheduled trips may be different on match day:

  • N line train 1700 will be cancelled (3:45 PM Seattle to Everett), replaced with special event train 1800 departing 60 minutes after match ends.

Match attendees are strongly encouraged to use earlier S and N Line service trains when traveling into the city, as event trains are expected to experience higher-than-normal crowding.
