Closures on I-5 for Federal Way Link construction
Closures will be along southbound I-5 in Kent starting this week

Crews working on the Federal Way Link Extension will be closing two lanes on I-5 South from Kent/Des Moines Road to South 272 Street to set concrete barriers and build an access road for future light rail construction. The Exit 147 off-ramp will also be closed. The night time closures will take place September 3, 8 and 9 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
All project construction work is done under stringent COVID-19 health and safety guidelines.
