Buses replace Link trains

Publish Date
Buses replace 1 Line trains between Capitol Hill and Stadium on Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22 for repair work and system maintenance in the Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel. During the disruption, crews will remove and replace a cracked rail at Pioneer Square Station and complete additional projects to improve system resiliency and prepare for the opening of the Crosslake Connection.

1 Line trains will operate every 15 minutes between Capitol Hill and Lynnwood and every 10-15 minutes between Stadium and Federal Way.

2 Line trains will operate every 10 minutes between Downtown Redmond and South Bellevue Station, with service ending at 10 p.m.

Shuttle buses will operate every 10-15 minutes between Capitol Hill and Stadium, making all local station stops.

Passengers traveling southbound past Capitol Hill will need to exit trains at Capitol Hill Station and board shuttle buses for service to Stadium stations. Southbound passengers can then re-board Link at Stadium to continue south.

Northbound passengers will likewise board shuttle buses at Stadium Station and can reconnect to Link at Capitol Hill for the remainder of their journey.
