Link light rail service will temporarily single-track between Tukwila International Boulevard and Rainer Beach stations Sept. 11 and 12
Closure begins at 11 p.m. on Saturday
Due to scheduled rail replacement, Link light rail will experience service disruptions between Tukwila International Boulevard station and Rainier Beach station late evening Saturday, Sept. 11 and all day Sunday, Sept. 12.
Starting at 11 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11, until the end of service, Link will be single-tracking between the two stations. Passengers should be aware of the direction of the trains arriving at the station.
There will be no Link service all day Sunday, Sept. 12, between Tukwila International Boulevard station and Rainier Beach station. During the service interruption, light rail riders will need to switch between trains and Link Shuttle buses.
Link Shuttle buses will run approximately every ten minutes. Sound Transit personnel will be available to help passengers with transfers. Passengers should allow additional time for their trips.
Light rail trains will return to their regular schedule on Monday, Sept. 13.
All Sound Transit passengers must wear face coverings in compliance with the federal Transportation Security Administration (TSA) mandate.
A language line is available to provide translation assistance for limited English proficiency persons at 800-823-9230.
