Link light rail single tracking late night tonight between Columbia City, Othello, and Rainer Beach stations

Southbound platforms at stations will be closed to allow for necessary switch work

Publish Date

1 Line trains will be single tracking between Columbia City, Othello, and Rainier Beach stations tonight, August 7, from 8:45 p.m. until the end of revenue service to allow crews to perform necessary switch maintenance. As a result, the southbound platforms at those stations will be closed. During this time, trains will be running every 25 minutes systemwide.

For the platform closures on Columbia City, Othello, and Rainier Beach, all passengers must board on the northbound platform (signs indicating Northgate). Passengers should be aware of the direction of the trains arriving at the stations, as that will be the direction in which the trains will continue.

Passengers should allow for additional travel time during this period. Information about alternative routes that passengers may want to consider is available on our website.

A language line is available to provide translation assistance for limited English proficiency persons at 800-823-9230.
