Sound Transit monthly maintenance program in effect Sept. 15-17
Buses replace Link 1 and 2 Line trains in Downtown Seattle
Buses will replace 1 Line trains from Capitol Hill to SODO and 2 Line trains from Capitol Hill to Judkins Park during late night hours Sept. 15, 16 and 17, for extended monthly maintenance. Passengers should plan for additional travel time as crews perform critical maintenance while enhancing system resiliency.
The last Northbound 1 Line train will depart Federal Way at 9:45 p.m., serving SODO at 10:30 p.m. and Capitol Hill at 10:44 p.m. The last Southbound 1 Line train will depart Lynnwood at 10:10 p.m., serving Capitol Hill at 10:38 p.m. and SODO at 10:51 p.m.
All trips between Capitol Hill and SODO after those trains will be served by 1 Line shuttle buses, which will operate every 10-15 minutes, making all stops.
The last Westbound 2 Line train will depart Downtown Redmond at 9:04 p.m., serving Judkins Park at 9:40 p.m. and Capitol Hill at 9:53 p.m. The last Eastbound 2 Line train will depart Lynnwood at 10:16 p.m., serving Capitol Hill at 10:44 p.m. and Judkins Park at 10:57 p.m.
All trips between Capitol Hill and Judkins Park after those trains will be served by 2 Line shuttle buses, which will operate every 10-15 minutes, making all stops.
Sound Transit remains committed to working closely with its partners to continue serving the public. Efforts will continue to prioritize serving riders who depend on Sound Transit’s services, including seniors, people with disabilities, Title VI-protected populations (race, color, national origin), passengers with low-incomes, and those with limited proficiency in English.
