Sound Transit to hold public hearing on proposal to sell surplus property

Sound Transit will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, June 14, at 12:30 p.m. at 401 South Jackson Street in the Ruth Fisher boardroom.

The agency is seeking public comment on a proposal to sell approximately 27,300 square feet of surplus land to the Port of Seattle. The surplus property is located on the east side of 28th Avenue Northeast (also known as Air Cargo Road) approximately 700 north of South 188th Street in SeaTac, WA.

The Port of Seattle intends to use the property for future expansion of the Port's South Access roadway system.
