Sound Transit to run extended Link 1 and 2 Line service for July 4

Additional service will support revelers celebrating America’s Semiquincentennial

People celebrating Independence Day this year will be able to enjoy the convenience of extended service hours on Link light rail. Link 1 and 2 Line trains will operate on an extended Saturday schedule, with trains running every 10-15 minutes until early morning hours. 

Train schedules

  • 1 Line
    • The last Northbound 1 Line train will depart Federal Way Downtown at 1:25 a.m., serving Westlake at 2:21 a.m. and arriving at Lynnwood City Center at 2:53 a.m.
    • The last Southbound 1 Line train will depart Lynnwood City Center at 1:39 a.m., serving Westlake at 2:10 a.m. and arriving at Federal Way Downtown at 3:05 a.m.
  • 2 Line
    • The last Eastbound 2 Line train will depart from Lynnwood City Center at 1:31 a.m., serving Westlake at 2:02 a.m. and arriving at Downtown Redmond at 2:48 a.m.
    • The last Westbound 2 Line train will depart from Downtown Redmond at 1:27 a.m., serving Westlake at 2:13 a.m. and arriving at Lynnwood City Center at 2:45 a.m.

ST Express bus routes will run on a normal Sunday schedule, as will T Line. Sounder N Line and S Line will not operate on July 4, but Sounder game train service will be available for Mariners fans on Sunday, July 5.
