Sounder trains available for Washington State Fair and Mariners vs. Angels this weekend
Two trains to fair Sept 13; Mariners service Sept. 14
This weekend state fairgoers and baseball fans can save time and money with special Sounder service Saturday, Sept. 13 and Sunday Sept. 14.
On Saturday, two trains originating in Everett will serve the Washington State Fair in Puyallup via King Street Station. The first train departs Everett at 8:45 a.m. and arrives at King Street Station at 9:44 a.m.; it departs Seattle at 9:55 a.m., arriving in Puyallup at 10:37 a.m. Shuttle buses are available from Puyallup Station to and from the fairgrounds.
The second train departs Everett at 9:45 a.m. and arrives at King Street Station at 10:44 a.m.; it departs Seattle at 10:55 a.m., arriving in Puyallup at 11:37 a.m.
The first return train departs Puyallup at 5:50 p.m. and arrives at King Street Station at 6:39 p.m.; it departs Seattle at 6:45 p.m., arriving in Everett at 7:44 p.m.
The second return train departs Puyallup at 6:50 p.m. and arrives at King Street Sation at 7:39 p.m.; it departs Seattle at 6:45 p.m., arriving in Everett at 8:44 p.m.

On Sunday, special service will be available for the 1:10 p.m. Mariners game against the Angels.
The inbound Sounder S Line train departs Lakewood at 10:11 a.m. The train will stop at all Sounder S Line stations and arrive at King Street Station at 11:27 a.m.
From the north, the inbound Sounder N Line game train from Snohomish County departs Everett at 10:45 a.m. with stops in Mukilteo and Edmonds, arriving at King Street Station at 11:44 a.m.
Both return trains depart 45 minutes after the conclusion of the game.

Riders can sign up to receive automatic e-mail or text service alerts for the T Line, Link light rail, Sounder and ST Express routes. The Link 1 Line runs every 10 minutes on weekends and serves 23 stations including Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace, Shoreline, Northgate, Roosevelt, University District, University of Washington, Capitol Hill, downtown Seattle, SODO, Beacon Hill, Rainier Valley, Tukwila SeaTac and Angle Lake. Link’s Stadium and International District stations are a short walk from the stadium.
Many ST Express and King County Metro buses also drop off passengers near the stadium. Eastside passengers can take the Link 2 Line to connect with bus routes that serve the stadium. Another way to skip lines at ticket vending machines is by getting an ORCA card. Cards only cost $3 for adults, plus whatever amount a rider chooses to load in the card’s E-purse or the cost of a pass that is good for unlimited transit trips.
ORCA LIFT fares are available for low-income adult passengers. Regional Reduced Fare Permit holders are seniors age 65+ and riders with disabilities.

A few additional reminders for a smoother trip:
- Riders using an ORCA card should remember to tap on and off at Sounder stations.
- Parking is available at all Sounder stations.
- Parking is also available at the Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace, Shoreline, Angle Lake, Tukwila International Boulevard and Northgate Link 1 Line stations, and at Marymoor Village, Redmond Technology, BelRed and South Bellevue Link 2 Line stations.
- Local bus transit service is also available to many Sounder and Link stations.
