Tacoma Dome Link Extension station-area open houses set
Online survey also available to share priorities for future stations
Sound Transit will hold three open houses to gather public input on the station-area planning for the four stations of the Tacoma Dome Link Extension (TDLE). An online survey is also available. When complete, the project will extend light rail service about 8.5 miles from Federal Way to Tacoma and includes four new stations. TDLE is currently in the final environmental review process.
We are identifying potential improvements to help make it safer and easier for people to access the future stations by walking, rolling, biking, and other non-motorized options. Specifically, Sound Transit is seeking community input on:
- How people expect to travel to the future stations
- What station features matter most
- Which potential station access improvements would be most helpful
Each in-person open house will focus on the local station(s) in that city. They are:
