Upcoming work on Link light rail

Closures and temporary service changes will accommodate planned maintenance, repairs

Sound Transit will be altering service to accommodate necessary work impacting Link light rail. Buses will replace trains during limited periods.
 
April Extended Maintenance Window 1 (April 14-16)
Buses replace 2 Line trains during late night hours between BelRed and Downtown Redmond Tuesday-Thursday April 14, 15 and 16. 
 
Tukwila Curve Essential Maintenance (April 25-26)
Buses replace 1 Line trains between Rainier Beach and SeaTac/Airport stations on the weekend of April 25 and 26. During the closure, crews will perform essential maintenance on the overhead power systems and rails. 
 
BelRed Crossing Panel Installation (April 25-26, May 2) 
Buses replace 2 Line trains from start of service until noon between Spring District and Overlake Village stations the weekend of April 25 and 26 and again on Saturday, May 2 for at-grade crossing safety work at BelRed Station. Trains will operate normally after noon. 
 
April Extended Maintenance Window 2 (April 28 – 30)
Buses replace 2 Line trains during late night hours between South Bellevue and Overlake Village stations Tuesday-Thursday April 28, 29 and 30.
