Crane Work at U District Station Site

What
Sound Transit’s contractor will set up an additional crane to accommodate work for the U District Station. With this additional crane, the contractor will set structural steel needed for the station’s north entrance escalators and stair. The contractor has obtained a Temporary Noise Variance to complete this work. There may be additional noise associated with this crane activity.

Saturday, February 2, 2019 5:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Where
On Brooklyn Ave NE south of NE 45 Street in the turnaround in front of UW Tower (see map).

• No parking signs will be placed in the work area.
• There will be a uniformed Police Officer in the intersection of NE 45th and Brooklyn Ave NE.
