Daytime closure of portion of NE 103rd Street

As early as Saturday, January 25, Sound Transit’s contractor will close a portion of NE 103rd Street between 1st Ave NE to the bus entrance of the Northgate Transit Center. This portion of roadway will be closed while the contractor finishes framing over NE 103rd Street and removes the plywood protection in this area.

Where
Closure of NE 103rd Street east of the 1st Avenue NE intersection to entrance of the bus entrance of the Northgate Transit Center. 1st Avenue NE will remain open in both directions.

- Access to Northgate Mall and Northgate Transit Center will be maintained.
- Access to Northgate Station Garage will be maintained. Drivers must enter and exit the garage via 3rd Ave NE.
- Express lanes will remain open.
- Construction equipment includes forklifts and man lifts.
