Eastbound SR 520 closure at 148th Avenue in Redmond Saturday night, May 30

Saturday night, May 30, construction crews working to build light rail between Seattle and Redmond will lift a steel truss pedestrian bridge segment into place over eastbound SR 520 between 148th Avenue NE and NE 40th Street. A detour will be in place on local streets. Westbound SR 520 will be reduced to one lane during this work.

The pedestrian bridge will connect the future Overlake Village Station to the SR 520 trail.

When

Crews will begin closing lanes at 9 p.m. Saturday, May 30 and will have all lanes open by 8 a.m. Sunday, May 31.

Where

Eastbound SR 520 between 148th Avenue NE and NE 40th Street.

What to expect

In addition to the total closure of eastbound, westbound SR 520 will be reduced to one lane.
