Night-time Closures: Monday, Aug. 27 to Thursday, Aug. 30 & Tuesday, Sept. 4 to Thursday, Sept. 6 closure of 1st Ave NE from NE 92nd St to NE 100th St

On Monday night, Aug. 27 to Thursday night, Aug 30 and Tuesday night, Sept 4 to Thursday night, Sept 6, 1st Ave NE will be closed from NE 92nd St to NE 100th St while Sound Transit’s contractor performs trenchwork to install storm drainage utility pipes. 
Work hours

• Monday night, Aug. 27th to Thursday night, Aug. 30th, 7:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.​
• Tuesday night, Sept. 4th to Thursday night, Sept. 6th, 7:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.
• Note: 1st Ave NE will be open on Labor Day weekend, Friday, Aug. 31st to Monday, Sept 3rd.

Traffic impacts
Closure of 1st Ave NE north of the NE 92nd Street intersection to south of NE 100th Street intersection (see map).

• Access to intersections on NE 92nd St and NE 100th St will be maintained. 
• Access to Northgate Mall and Northgate Transit Center will be maintained.
• Local access to residents will be granted by and escorted in by flaggers.
