Northgate Station - Early morning concrete pour

On Saturday, March 31, Sound Transit’s contractor will conduct a large concrete pour requiring work to begin at 4 a.m. at the Northgate Station parking garage site. A temporary noise variance permit has been obtained from the City of Seattle for this work.
What to expect:
Saturday, March 31
- Permitted start times: Setup at 4 a.m., pour at 5 a.m.
- Traffic impacts: None, all work done on site and on Northgate Mall property.
- Construction activities: Setting up the concrete pump, trucks entering and exiting the site and tower crane moving equipment.
- Equipment: Concrete pump truck, concrete trucks and tower crane

What is Sound Transit building?
The Northgate Link Extension will connect the Northgate, Roosevelt and U District neighborhoods to downtown Seattle and Sea-Tac Airport. Fast, reliable service will provide relief to one of the region's most congested traffic areas. The 4.3-mile extension is expected to be open for service in 2021.
