Pedestrian detour across Northeast 103rd Street to Northgate Transit Center
Starting as early as Friday, July 6, through Friday, Aug. 3, the crosswalk at Northeast 103rd Street from the King County Metro Park & Ride Garage to the north entrance of the Northgate Transit Center will be closed (see map). This is to allow Sound Transit's contractor to conduct utility work at the sidewalk on the northeast corner of the Northgate Transit Center bus entrance intersection. A pedestrian detour will be in place (see map). Please follow all detour signage to access the Northgate Transit Center.
Access to Northgate Transit Center and Northgate Mall will be maintained.
What to expect: Friday, July 6 – Friday, August 3, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Pedestrian impacts: Sidewalk at northeast corner of the Northeast 103rd Street and Northgate Transit Center will be closed (see map).
- Cross Northeast 103rd Street at 3rd Avenue Northeast, please follow all detour signs.
- Traffic impacts: None, Northeast 103rd Street will remain open.
- Construction equipment: excavators, truck cranes, compactors, dump trucks.
