Pedestrian path closing and construction sound wall removal around the U District Station site

As early as Wednesday, January 15th, the pedestrian path around the U District Station (UDS) site will be permanently closed. Once the pedestrian path closes, Sound Transit’s contractor will begin to remove the south and west construction sound walls. Use alternate routes around the station site (see map).
When
Wednesday, January 15 – Friday, January 31, 2020 the construction sound wall will be removed.

Pedestrian path between NE 43rd and NE 42nd Street and 12th Ave NE and Brooklyn Ave NE (see map).
