Recap: Open house for Northgate Station's 60 percent design

More than 60 people attended Sound Transit's public open house on Nov. 7 to see 60 percent design work for the Northgate Station and elevated track. Mary Ann Peters and Cris Bruch, the artists who will create original artwork for the station, also introduced themselves and spoke about their creative processes.

Some themes we heard from the public were questions about access improvements around the station and comments about weather protection for passengers on the platform and about minimizing construction and operational noise to neighbors. The 90 percent designs for Northgate Station and elevated track will be presented in mid-2013.
