Restoration work begins at 12th Ave. NE and NE 63rd Street

As soon as Tuesday, Jan. 20, Sound Transit's contractor will begin replacing the road, gutter, curb and sidewalk at the northeast corner of 12th Avenue NE and NE 63rd Street.

Crews will typically work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Parking will be closed 24-hours a day near the intersection to accommodate the work and to maintain traffic on 12th Avenue NE.

This work is expected to take approximately three weeks to complete, depending on weather.

This street and sidewalk repair is necessary after crews completed utility relocation in the intersection in 2014.
