Traffic impacts on Commerce Street, Stadium Way, N. 1st Street, and Martin Luther King Jr. Way during the week of Feb. 4
To be safe in the wintery weather conditions, the construction crews will not be working in the snow. Frozen ground also makes it difficult for the contractor to install utilities underground. Travel is challenging in these conditions, and we recommend staying home, if you can. If you're on the roads, please drive slower and allow more space in between vehicles. Be safe out there!
As the weather improves later this week, crews will continue the underground utility work along the route. Work will take place in new locations on Commerce Street, Stadium Way/4th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way. The sewer work on North 1st Street is expected to move to Division in between Yakima and K Street.
