Traffic shift at the intersection of NE 20th St and 136th PL NE

Beginning as early as Thursday, December 19 lasting through mid-January 2020 contractor crews will shift traffic to the two westbound lanes on Northeast 20th Street at the intersection of Northeast 20th Street and 136th Place Northeast. Please note this work is weather dependent. If the traffic shift cannot be accommodated on Thursday, December 19 crews will shift traffic on Thursday, December 26. 

What

Traffic on Northeast 20th Street will be shifted to the two westbound lanes at the intersection of Northeast 20th Street and 136th Place Northeast. 

When

Starting as early as Thursday, December 19 lasting mid-January 2020.

Westbound and eastbound traffic will be shifted to the two westbound lanes on Northeast 20th Street at the intersection of Northeast 20th Street and 136th Place Northeast.

  • Lane reduction on Northeast 20th Street will be on-going. Recommended detours will be signed and in place.
  • Westbound and eastbound traffic will be shifted to the two westbound lanes on Northeast 20th Street.
  • Contractor crews will revise the signal and allow a right turn for northbound 136th Place Northeast traffic.
  • Plan ahead, leave early and allow extra time to reach your destination.
  • All traffic control plans have been reviewed and approved by the City of Bellevue.
  • Crews will maintain a safe and secure work zone.

UPDATED: Nighttime roadway closures on 136th Place Northeast

Sound Transit contractor crews will close 136th Place Northeast from Northeast Spring Boulevard to Northeast 20th Street from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. starting Monday, May 11 through the morning of Friday, August 14 (excluding holidays). Nightly closures are necessary to facilitate testing of drainage systems and roadway construction activities.

What

Nightly full closures of 136th Place Northeast from Northeast Spring Boulevard to Northeast 20th Street from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Local access will be maintained until 10 p.m.

When

Monday, May 11, 2020 - Friday, August 14, 8 p.m. - 6 a.m.

Where
