Work extended: Restoration of Brooklyn Ave NE between NE 45th and NE 43rd Street

On Thursday, May 14, Sound Transit's contractor will continue the restoration of Brooklyn Avenue Northeast between Northeast 45th and Northeast 43rd Streets (see map). Within the work limits, the contractor will demolish and restore the sidewalks, curbs and roadway. There will be sidewalk closures and detours in place to maintain pedestrian access.

Restoration of the street, sidewalks and ADA ramps.
When
Thursday, May 14 – Friday, May 22. Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Brooklyn Avenue Northeast between Northeast 45th and Northeast 43rd Street (see map).
More
- ADA access will be located across the street (see map).
- Flaggers will be used only for truck traffic.
- Equipment used: Breakers, compactors, bulldozers and excavators.
- Seattle Police Department (SPD) will be present once work gets closer to Northeast 45th Street.
