Please pay attention to in-station announcements, signage, train and bus destination signs to make sure you board the correct train or shuttle bus. Link Shuttle Buses will provide service between stations during these service interruptions.

Beginning on January 8 2025, through the beginning of 2026 there will be ongoing construction activity at SeaTac Airport Station while a new elevator is added. The new elevator will provide an alternative option to reach the pedestrian bridge from the pickup/drop off parking lot across from the station. During this time passengers can expect pedestrian walkways to occasionally be blocked or narrowed, as well as elevator access periodically being unavailable.

During times where pedestrian walkways are blocked and elevator access are unavailable, passengers may catch the Rapid Ride A Line bus from SeaTac Airport station to Tukwila International Boulevard station in order to use the 1 Line.

The pedestrian walkway from the station to the airport will be unaffected and available throughout the duration of this project.

Additional information about changes in elevator accessibility will be provided as it comes available.
The work will occur at the new NE 130th station and will require trains to operate on a single track through Shoreline South 148th station for the duration of construction. This will occur every evening from 5:30 p.m. until the end of light rail service Monday through Friday, as well as all day on Saturday and Sunday. During weekend work, trains will arrive about every 12 to 15 minutes as opposed to every 10.

Please pay attention to station announcements and signage at Shoreline South 148th Station to determine where to board trains.

During some weekends in January and February trains will be further delayed due to another construction project involving the closure of the Downtown Tunnel. Please visit SoundTransit.org/Disruptions for more information.
