Connecting to stations

Sound Transit is helping increase ridership with safe, easy connections to stations by foot, bike, wheelchair, local transit or car.

Transit riders connect to light rail, Sounder trains, bus rapid transit (BRT) and ST Express bus service by walking, rolling, biking, transferring from local transit, using pick-up and drop-off areas, and parking near stations. Safe and easy connections help increase ridership by making transit an attractive alternative to driving.

Through voter-approved programs, Sound Transit combines dedicated funding to improve rider connections to stations with ongoing planning that responds to evolving needs.
