1:15-3 p.m. Mukilteo Station Technical Advisory Committee meeting

The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) for the Sounder commuter rail station in Mukilteo will meet. The city council-appointed TAC is comprised of city officials and local community members. The TAC meetings will eventually lead to a public meeting(s) to solicit commuter input on the station.

Sound Transit Boardmember Julia Patterson will address the Tukwila Rotary Club.

9a.m.-12 noon Trans-Lake Washington Project- Joint Committee meeting

The Trans-Lake Washington project, a combined effort of Sound Transit, WSDOT, FHWA and FTA, is evaluating information for increasing mobility across Lake Washington. This is a joint meeting of the Technical and Advisory Committees.

Sound Transit Boardmember Dave Earling will provide an update on the agency and its projects for the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce.

Sound Transit will hold its regular community meeting to discuss current construction issues, including traffic changes, safety concerns and upcoming construction plans.

8:30a.m.-4p.m. Washington State Transportation Commission meeting
Union Station, Sound Transit Board Room

The Washington State Transportation Commission will hold its June local area meeting in the Sound Transit Board Room. Presenters will include Sound Transit Boardmembers Greg Nickels and Dwight Pelz and Sound Transit Deputy Director Vernon Stoner. Representatives of WSDOT, PSRC, ETC and many other organizations, as well as representatives of several local jurisdictions, will also participate.
