Sound Transit offers parking at many facilities it owns and operates, and these facilities are only for transit customers and other authorized individuals.

Parking of rideshare vehicles (Car2Go, ReachNow, etc) is subject to approval by Sound Transit. Persons not authorized by Sound Transit or persons involved in unauthorized activities are subject to prosecution for criminal trespassing under applicable ordinances. Sound Transit reserves the right to change policies regarding use of this facility.

When using our Park-and-Ride lots, we recommend:

  • Arriving with enough time to catch your bus or train without hurrying
  • Removing your garage door opener
  • Closingall windows and lock doors
  • Removing valuables from your car
  • Preventing identity theft by removing from your car any paperwork showing your home address or social security number

Sound Transit is not responsible for property damage, personal injury, or loss or damage to a vehicle or its contents from fire, theft, collision or any cause whatsoever. This is not a contract of bailment. Sound Transit is not an insurer and does not guarantee protection.

  • Camping in vehicle
  • Installing unauthorized newspaper, advertising or merchandise vending machines
  • Camping on Sound Transit property
  • Defacing Sound Transit property
  • Littering
  • Driver training
  • Loitering, soliciting, or panhandling
  • Dumping waste or garbage
  • Rollerblading, skating or skateboarding
  • Dumping vehicle fluids into drains
  • Unauthorized leafleting
  • Other activities as defined by Sound Transit

The following violations will be cause for immediate impound, unless written permission has been obtained from Sound Transit:

  • Parking anywhere except in marked stalls
  • Blocking entrances, exits, or other vehicles
  • Exceeding the vehicle load limit of 10,000 lbs. including motorhomes and other commercial and non-commercial vehicles
  • Parking in “disabled” spaces with no visible state permit
  • Taking up more than one parking space
  • Parking with trailer attached
  • Leaving your vehicle unattended for over 24 hours
  • Leaving an unattended trailer
  • Parking for “vehicle for sale” activity
  • Parking for on-site repair activities
  • Using our lots for residential parking or storage
  • Other activities as defined by Sound Transit
