Sound Transit launches new Twitter channel for rider alerts

The @Alerts_ST channel provides quick access to Sound Transit rider alerts

Publish Date

Today Sound Transit launched the new @Alerts_ST Twitter channel as a one-stop source for rider alerts impacting our trains and buses.

This new automated feed provides a much-requested source of information for followers who are only interested in Sound Transit rider alerts.

It also allows the main @SoundTransit Twitter feed to focus on customer service, agency news, photos and promotions.

The main feed will still be the place to ask us questions, let us know about any issues you see on board or at the stations and keep up with the latest Sound Transit news.

We may cross post information from the alerts feed to the main feed as needed, but the goal is to have one source for rider alerts and one source for agency news and information.

Thank you as always for following!
